The Accessible Information Standard (AIS) aims to ensure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensor loss receive information that they can access and understand.
We want to get better at communicating with our patients. We want to make sure you can read and understand the information we send you.
We want to know if you we can support you in:-
- Alternative formats ie: Braille, Large Print or Easy Read.
- Translations - Translator or via our Practice Leaflet
- Interpreters – British Sign language or Advocate
- Other – Lip read, use of a hearing aid or communication tool
